Abstract:
PURPOSE:To dispense with the unnecessary manipulation due to going beyond the stopping point or being short of getting there, by operating to indicate the distance required for a train to stop based on the speed and the rate of the change of speed. CONSTITUTION:When a train passes over the ground resonator 5 provided at a specified distance L on this side of a definite stopping position of a station 7, a spot detection signal is outputted from a pickup 4. When the spot detection signal is inputted, a spot distance detecting section 3 operates the speed difference, i.e. acceleration or deceleration based on the signal from a tachometer generator, operating to indicate the distance to an indicator 9 until the train stops using the deceleration and the speed. The indication of the stopping distance is updated until the train stops.
