Abstract:

To provide a train stopping position indicator of simple constitution at low cost so that trains consisting of different numbers of cars do not mistake train stopping positions at a station platform as seen from train drivers.

One of plural stopping position indicating plates 12 placed in positions at a station platform 10 which correspond to the stopping positions of trains consisting of different numbers of cars is made to emit light by use of a galvanomirror 22 to make clear the desired stopping positions of the trains. This device has laser beam generation means 24 which emit laser beams toward the galvanomirror 22. The galvanomirror 22 is a mirror capable of two-dimensional deflections, manufactured through semiconductor manufacturing processes.
