PURPOSE: To stabilize the hand rotating torque for the purpose of time correction and to provide strength to oscillations and impact by meshing an intermediate gear and an intermediate wheel by means of ratchet teeth.

CONSTITUTION: An intermediate gear 9 and an intermediate wheel pinion 10 are meshed with each other by means of ratchet teeth. A leaf spring 13 presses the gear 9 and the pinion 10 elastically in an axial direction with a plate 12 as a bumper. In the stage of hand operation for clocking, the gear 9 and the pinion 10 transmit torque in one body. In the stage of correcting time, a rotor 1 is fixed, by which an intermediate wheel 2, a second wheel 3 and the gear 9 are prevented from rotation. Although the revolutions of a winding stem are transmitted to a minute hand wheel 60, the gear 9 is prevented from rotation by the ratchet teeth.
