Abstract:

PURPOSE: To widen an angle to hit a ball properly in the right and left directions at ≥30° essentially and to reduce difference between the rotating quantity of the ball for two hitting points formed at almost the same angle from the center position of the rocking angle of an arm by adding a horizontal rotary system on a vertical rotary system.

CONSTITUTION: The ball can be curved rightward or leftward by adding the horizontal rotary system on rotation applied to the ball by further adding a motor to control the height position of a reflector 4 and shifting the contact of the ball with a racket part 2 in a vertical direction. The direction of the reflector 4 is set facing leftward to reduce the difference between the rotating quantity to be supplied to the ball at the two hitting points at almost the same angle from the center position of the swing of the arm 1. The direction of the rotary shaft of a motor C for racket part rotation is varied according to the swing of the arm 1, however, the swing of the arm 1 can be smoothed by employing a damper 5 with contra-rotating structure in which an inner shaft and an outer shaft are inverted.
