To provide a training contents detecting device having a simple constitution and low manufacturing cost and capable of correctly detecting training contents without maldetection.
The training contents detecting device includes RFID (Radio Frequency IDentification) tags 31-34, acceleration sensors respectively set to a portion with a same motion as a weight equipped in the duration of weight training among the weight training apparatuses and an RFID reader for detecting radio-wave field intensity from the RFID tag 31 and receiving signals including ID (IDentification) information. The number of repetitions is detected from presence/absence and a direction of movement of the equipped weight 121. The total wight of the weight 121 is detected from the ID information received from the RFID tag 31 with a constant field intensity when the weight 121 moves.
