Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to respond to processing vast and multifarious input images in detecting area candidates of training target areas. To this end, this training data set generation device is a device for detecting, from image areas of input images collected for training data, area candidates of a training target area to be tagged as a training target of machine training, the device comprising a non-target storage unit, a non-target selection unit, and an area candidate extraction unit. The non-target storage unit stores, as a non-target data set, a group of non-target images that do not include training target areas in the image areas. The non-target selection unit evaluates the differences between the input images and the non-target data set, and selects, on the basis of the evaluation result of the differences, the non-target images adaptive to the input images from the non-target data set. The area candidate extraction unit detects the area candidates on the basis of the area distribution of difference areas between the input images and the non-target images selected by the non-target selection unit.
