Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an exercising machine adaptable for various kinds of exercises with a simple structure and capable of being compactly stored. CONSTITUTION: A set of leg sections 12 and a set of support members 16 are rotatably connected together by a mandrel 24. Ratchets 40 are fitted to the back faces of the support members 16, and the tip sections of stays 18 erected from the leg sections 12 are coupled with proper recesses of the ratchets 40. Pulley blocks 28, 30, 32 are arranged on the leg sections 12, elastic cords 22 are suspended on pulleys, and handles 36 are fitted at free ends. When this exercising machine is used, various kinds of exercises can be made in the desired mode. When it is not used, the leg sections 12 and support members 16 can be folded in the parallel state, and it can be compactly stored.
