To provide a transaction processor for suppressing power consumption in a stand-by mode, and for preventing the deterioration of the operating efficiency of a device body.
An operation display part 9 is provided with an operation display board 9a installed at the upper part of the front face of a device body. Nine display units 21 to 29 are mounted on the operation display board 9a. The operation display part 9 displays an image corresponding to the type of transaction assigned to each of the display units 21 to 29. The assignment of the type of transaction to each display unit 20 is performed by a control part 2. The control part 2 updates the assignment of the type of transaction according to the generation of abnormality in any of the display units 21 to 29 or the stop of the dealing of any type of transaction. Also, each display unit 21 to 29 is configured as electronic paper in which power supply is required when an image to be displayed is given, and the finally given image is continuously displayed when power supply is stopped.
