Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the operating efficiency with a transaction processing system when a large number of transaction occur, by using a means to give batch processing to the transactions. CONSTITUTION:A computer system 10 includes a batch input part 11, an input part 12, a processing part 13, an output part 14, a transaction file 15, and a master file 16. In an on-line operation mode the file 16 of a computer system is processed for each piece of transaction. While the accumulated transactions are processed in a batch when an on-line operation is started on the following day in case the transactions are produced at the terminal input side out of an operation time band and accumulated. In such a way, the operating efficiency is improved with a transaction processing system in such a case where a large number of transactions are produced.
