Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a transaction processor to be easily handled by using the finger print data of respective fingers both as person collating data and collation data for distinguishing processing. CONSTITUTION:A host CPU 20 in a computer center connected to a automatic cash dispenser/depositer 1 has a finger print data file 30 and finger print data of the forefinger, middle finger and medical finger of the left hand of an account owner are registered and stored in each account. When the finger prints of a transactor are inputted after inputting the account number from the automatic cash dispenser/depositer 1, the inputted finger prints are retrieved and collated with the finger print data of the account stored in the file 30 and whether coincident data exist or not is decided. When there is coincident data, the transaction is permitted and the processing of kind corresponding to the inputted finger print (e.g. 'deposit' for the forefinger, 'payment' for the middle finger and 'other transaction' for the medical finger) is executed.
