To provide a transducer type vacuum gauge and its control method suppressing an increase of cost required for a device, and facilitating the setting of set points and the reading of the set-up set points in the transducer type vacuum gauge.

The transducer type vacuum gauge includes a storage means 7 for storing set values A, B for specifying the set points; a control means 2 capable of reading the set values A, B recorded in the storage means 7; a readout switch 4 for giving readout instructions of the set values A, B to the control means 2; a rotary switch 6 for supplying the control means 2 with signals that indicate predetermined numbers; and display means 8, 9 capable of making at least a binary display by the control of the control means 2. The control means 2 makes a display that shows coincidence by the display means 8, 9 when the set values A, B read by the readout instructions of the read switch 4 coincide with the signals that indicate the predetermined numbers, supplied by the rotary switch 6.
