PURPOSE: To suppress an image disturbance generated at the time of fixing, by providing a belt laminated with an optical semiconductor on a conductive supporting body, an electrifying means for electrifying the belt, and a light source for destaticizing an electrification of the belt, and melting and fixing an electrified grain by a light source.
CONSTITUTION: In order to make an electrostatic field as small as possible at the time point when a copying form is separated from a belt, the charge of the belt 60 is suppressed lowly by irradiating a light beam by a light source 80 so that the separation is executed moderately. However, even if a separate electrification is made as small as possible, the separated copying form is electrified to some extent, and especially, a toner shows a high electrification. Therefore, the light source 80 utilized for destaticizing the belt is utilized for softening and melting the toner, and after applying the remaining heat, the copying form is allowed to pass through the pressing part of a heating roller 10 and a pressure roller 11. In such a way, the disturbance of the toner generated at the time of fixing can be prevented.
