Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer device capable of easily separating paper, as a body subjected to transfer, from a photoreceptor and surely transferring an image, formed on the photoreceptor, to paper, and an image forming device equipped with the transfer device.
SOLUTION: This transfer device 20 has a transfer roller 22 which is freely rotatable around a rotary shaft 21 and is in contact with the photoreceptor drum 10, and an electric power supply member 23 which is in contact with the transfer roller 22, further upstream than the position where the photoreceptor or drum is in contact with it. The rotary shaft 21 of the transfer roller 22 is connected to a high-voltage generation circuit 25 and applied a voltage whose level is higher than that of the electric power supply member 23. A voltage gradient is formed so that the level of the voltage applied to the upstream side from the position of the contact of the photoreceptor drum 10 and transfer roller 22 is lower than that of the voltage applied to the downstream side from the position, in the direction where the paper P is carried.
