PURPOSE: To stably and parallelly shift a storage shelf by connecting a chain on which a storage shelf is mounted directly with the second chain by means of a connecting bar and so mounting one end of a link as to be free in rotation on the chain so as to form, at all times, a link mechanism having parallelogram of a parallel part of these two chains, a connecting bar and a link.

CONSTITUTION: A storage shelf 10 is mounted on a chain 11 and the chain 11 and the second chain 12 are connected directly with each other with a connecting bar 20. Further one end of each link 14, 24 is mounted in possible to rotate on the chain 11. And a link mechanism having parallelogram at all times is formed of the parallel part between the chain 11 and the second chain 12 and the connecting bar 20 and the links 14, 24. Thereupon when the chain is travelled, this link mechanism rotates while holding the parallelogram at all times and the load distribution of the storage shelf 10 is maintained at a specified value. Accordingly, the storage shelf 10 can be shifted parallelly in the stable condition. Further since it doesn't cause pulsation and vibration, the noise occurrence can be also prevented.
