Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the subject device designed to transfer a papermaking stock from a white water tank to a head tank without decreasing its viscosity.
CONSTITUTION: A white water tank 5 is connected, via a suction pipe 6 with an operating valve, to the funnel-shaped bottom of a vacuum tank 1. A head tank 7 is also connected, via a delivery pipe 8 with an operating valve, to the bottom of the vacuum tank 1. The vacuum tank 1 is situated over the head tank 7. The vacuum tank 1 is then put to suction to a vacuum, and by this action, a stock in the white water tank 5 is sucked into the vacuum tank 1 and then delivered into the head tank 7 through its own weight.
