Abstract:
To provide a transfer device that transfers a plurality of stacked boxes by perpendicularly opposing a plurality of suction nozzles to the respective boxes and sucking and holding them even when the boxes have swelled to have an increased thickness.CONSTITUTION: A transfer device includes: a plurality of suction nozzles 22 for respectively sucking and holding a plurality of boxes 1; a suction head 15 having a restraining member 25 that can make contact with another surface of a stacking article 2; and a robot arm 12 for moving the suction head in a three-dimentional space. The suction head advances (a-1, a-2) so as to make contact with an upper surface of stacked articles placed on a supporting member 7 of a first carrier conveyor 4, and dissolves swelling of the boxed by moving down the restraining member together with the suction head, and the respective suction nozzles are perpendicularly opposed to the respective boxes (b-1, b-2), and advance the suction head toward the boxes suck and hold the boxes (c) by bringing the suction nozzle into contact with the boxes. Then, a guide member 27 is lifted into contact with a lower part of the stacked articles, and a stacked article is taken out by retreating the suction head and transferred to a prescribed position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
