To provide a transfer device with an inexpensive circuit constitution, by which low transfer voltage required is generated without increasing output voltage ripple even in the case that the required transfer voltage is low.
Operation is performed by switching a high mode and a low mode by a microcomputer IC101 in the transfer voltage generating circuit 101 of the transfer device. In the high mode, a transfer positive voltage generating circuit 102 is independently operated, so that voltage generated by the transfer positive voltage generating circuit 102 is outputted as transfer voltage. In the low mode, both the transfer positive voltage generating circuit 102 and a transfer negative voltage generating circuit 103 are operated, and voltages respectively generated are superimposed and outputted as the transfer voltage.
