The transfer device is provided for transferring or moving articles. It comprises a L-shaped long angle as a supporting part 7 having a bottom portion, a side portion and a top face, the top face being an article guide 8, the planar sliding plate 1 placed on the bottom portion of the supporting part 7 and having a plurality of sliding ribs 2, and a joining means 6 for joining the sliding plate 1 to the supporting part 7 so as to be flush therewith.
