PURPOSE: To facilitate the composing and maintaining operations of a system by easily obtaining identification information of one's own node and an opposite node.
CONSTITUTION: A transmission part 11 keeps transmitting one's own node identification information held by a one's own node identification information holding part 15 with a special character for synchronization to the opposite node 2 while data is not transmitted by the instruction of frame transmission from a processor part 14. One's own node identification information is displayed at a one's own node display part 16. On the other hand, when data received from the opposite node 2 is not a frame, a reception part 12 fetches opposite node identification information included in the character set, sends it to an opposite node identification information holding part 17 and displays the value on an opposite node display part 18.
