PURPOSE: To obtain a transfer feeder surely possible to hold or release a work by linking feed bars to the vertical motion of an operating bar, approaching them to each other or separating them from each other at the falling position and pushing down the operating lever linking it to a press.

CONSTITUTION: The transfer feeder is provided with holding clicks 26, 27 for the work w and feed bars 25. A carrier 15 is installed so that it can move vertically to a movable rest 2 on a pedestal 1. An operating lever 35 is set on the movable rest 2 so that it can move vertically through a carrier 15. A cylinder 37 is installed to hold up the carrier 15 through a link mechanism 42 pushing up link mechanisms 39, 42 and operating lever 35 linking to a vertical motion of the operating lever 35 and approaching the feed bars 25, 25 to each other or separating them from each other at the falling position. The operating lever 35 is made up so that it is pushed down linking to a press, etc. By this method, it is possible to give a transfer feeder to surely hold and release a work.
