To provide a transfer foil and a method of manufacturing a transferring object, eliminating remaining of resin in a printing plate in an embossing process, which occurs when manufacturing the transfer foil having minuter and deeper patterns than ordinary hologram or a diffraction grating, being strippable with a conventional transfer device, and causing little foil burrs when manufactured as a product.

In the transfer foil having a stripping layer 2, a functional layer and an adhesive layer 5 on a base material 1, adjustability of the strippability is greatly increased than ever by the transfer foil containing a laser reactive material decomposed or modified by irradiating the stripping layer with laser.
