PURPOSE: To read required information efficiently by referencing a management number of transfer information written in a mail box and reading the transfer information provided with the management number so as to select the required transfer information.

CONSTITUTION: When a caller finishes the input of a transfer message, a control section 1 generates a management number to the transfer text and registers the number to a transfer text management information storage section 2. Then the control section 1 requests the entry of retrieval keyword for the caller. The caller enters the keyword according to the request. Upon the receipt of the keyword, the control section 1 writes the keyword to a column of management information 2i of a transfer text #i in the storage section 2. When this is finished, the control section 1 compares the retrieval keyword added to the registered transfer text with the retrieval keyword by each user registered in the user management information storage section 4 and when any coincident retrieval keyword exists, the management number of the transfer information is written in a mail box 5 of the user. As a result, the user references the management number of the transfer information to select the transfer information required for each user.
