PURPOSE: To transfer-load an object to be conveyed which is conveyed from an upper stream securely to a conveying passage of a next process regardless of the magnitude of the weight of the object by conveying the object by means of a movable table having a pushing tool capable of moving both above and below a conveying plane.

CONSTITUTION: A pallet P conveyed from an upper stream by means of conveyer chains 2 and 4 is stopped at a standby position C in the vicinity of a terminal part of a conveying passage 1. A movable table 10 located below a conveying plane slightly upstream of the standby position C is standing with a pushing tool 17 capable of rising and lowering above and below a conveying plane being in a lowered condition. When the pallet P comes to be position C, a movable pushing tool position changeover means 18 works to make the pushing tool 17 rise by means of a pusher 32 so that the pushing tool 17 rises above the conveying plane to be capable of contacting the rear end of the pallet P. The pallet P is transfer-loaded to a support table 34 by starting a motor 12, and drawing the movable table 10 by means of a drive chain 15. With the above arrangement, the pallet P is transfer-loaded securely whether the pallet is empty or fully loaded.
