Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deflection of a glass plate, and deterioration of quality of display uneveness or the like due to local dispersion of a cell gap, in the case of transfer loading a liquid crystal cell sucked. SOLUTION: In a robot hand 1 suction supporting a liquid crystal cell 10 from downward to transfer, a plurality of suction ports 3 are formed with a suitable space in an upper surface of the robot hand 1, and between the suction ports 3 and 3, an escape groove 4 opened to a side surface of the robot hand 1 is formed. Between a glass plate of the liquid crystal cell 10 and an upper surface of the robot hand 1, even in the case of generating a clearance, each suction port 3 sucks independently the liquid crystal cell 10 respectively, deflection of the glass plate is decreased, and deterioration of quality such as generating display uneveness by locally enlarging a cell gap is effectively suppressed.
