PURPOSE: To reduce the cost by transferring the material wood onto a chain together with a binding rope by connecting a binding rope for binding material wood and the chain of a chain deck by a pulling tool and driving the chain when the chip material wood is directly transferred onto the chain deck from the load carrying platform of a truck.

CONSTITUTION: In the state where the rear edge of the load carrying platform of a truck T is attached onto the edge part on the loading side 4b of a chain deck 4, a binding rope W for binding material woods G and the rod 17b of a pulling chain 17 are connected by a pulling tool 24, and the bound material wood G is transferred onto a chain deck 4, driving the pulling chain 17 (also transport chain 14). Further, when each diameter of a pulling sprocket 20 and a sprocket 21 for transport chain is made equal, the traction speed for the material wood and the transport speed become equal, and the trouble of load destruction is prevented, and the bundle of the material wood G is smoothly transported to the loading side 4b. When the transport of the whole of the material wood bundle is completed, the pulling tool 24 is released, and the binding rope W is united, and the need of operating a forklift is obviated.
