To provide a transfer molding apparatus which can position a transfer film accurately in both of a longitudinal direction and a width direction.
The transfer molding apparatus has an injection molding part having a fixed mold 2, a movable mold 4 and an injection nozzle 5, and a film moving part having a film feed-out device 10 for moving the transfer film 20 with respect to a mold parting surface and a film winding device 11. The transfer molding apparatus is also equipped with a longitudinal direction sensor 30 for detecting the shift quantity of the transfer film 20 with a longitudinal direction mark 22, the first and second width direction sensors 31 and 32 for detecting the shift quantity of the transfer film 20 with a width direction mark 23, and a controller 80 for controlling the driving and movement in the width direction of the film winding device 11. Also, a transfer molding machine, which can move the transfer film in the longitudinal direction so as to make the shift quantity of the film 20 zero to accurately position the film 20 in the width direction, is provided.
