PURPOSE: To make the whole structure of transfer paper feeder simple and compact, by separating a transfer paper in a paper feeding device and by changing the conveying direction about 90 degrees.
CONSTITUTION: A paper feeder 3 consists of a calling-out roller 11, a drive roller 23, a separation roller 24, a pair of conveyor rollers 25 and 26, a guide plate 27, arms 12, side plates, etc. Drive each roller of the paper feeder 3, receive each sheet of transfer paper P, and turn the paper in about 90 degrees direction, separating it in the paper feeder 3. Then, convey the direction changed transfer paper P vertically to the main body of the copying machine by two conveyor belts 6 located near side and far side of the paper feeder 3, and copy the transfer paper P in the copying machine.
