To provide a transfer printing sheet not requiring a removing layer and adhesive, a method for manufacturing the same, a transfer printing matter, and transfer printing method.

The transfer printing sheet is characterized in that an ink layer is formed by printing on the side of a vapor deposited face of a base material film, on at least one face of which silica or alumina is vapor-deposited. The method for manufacturing the same is also disclosed. In the transfer printing matter and the transfer printing method, an electrically charged surface of the matter to be transferred and the face of the transfer printing sheet where the ink layer is formed are brought into close contact, then one constituted by bringing the matter to be transferred and the transfer printing sheet into close contact is stretched by pressing and heating the same for a predetermined time, and thereafter the base film is removed.
