To provide a transfer pump system which can efficiently transfer easily-damaged transfer objects such as fresh fish and small fish, can be used even on a fishing boat or a small ship by a simple device without using a complicated mechanism, and can suck small fish as they are in the massed state into a suction hose even if the small fish such as young sardines are massed in a net and moreover without damaging them.

The transfer object transfer pump system comprises a main pump 31 with no self-priming ability to which a transfer object suction pipe 4 having at the tip a suction port for sucking the transfer object together with seawater is connected, and an auxiliary pump 32 with vacuum suction ability to which a seawater suction pipe 5 having at the tip a suction port for sucking only seawater is connected. The suction pipe 5 of the auxiliary pump 32 is connected to the suction pipe 4 upstream of the main pump 31 so that the inside of the main pump 31 can be evacuated, and a discharge port of the main pump 31 is connected to a discharge line of water containing the transfer objects.
