PURPOSE: To securely bind microcapsules to a base and to obtain bright images which have a high transfer density and less unequalness and staining by providing a photosensitive layer contg. a specific ratio of a binder and a layer contg. a polymer making interaction with the binder in the photosensitive layer between a base and the ptosensitive layer.

CONSTITUTION: This recording medium has the photosensitive layer contg. the binder at 10 to 25wt.% of the weight of the contents of the photosensitive microcapsules on a base and the layer contg. the polymer making the interaction with the binder in the photosensitive layer between the base and the photosensitive layer. Namely, the binder is incorporated into the photosensitive layer to the extent of preventing the permeation of oxygen and of not hindering the transfer of the inclusions in the capsules in pressure transfer. The polymer with which the bright images having the high transfer density and the lessened unequalness and staining are obtainable and which makes the interaction with the binder is used in this way and, therefore, the binding property between the microcapsules and the base is enhanced.
