Abstract:

To reduce equipment cost, while avoiding interference between carrying devices, in a transfer system for transferring a container stored in a high-rise warehouse between the different carrying devices.

This transfer system on a form of this embodiment includes the high-rise warehouse C having a shelf for storing an article, a first route R1 for carrying the article Cijk to be stored or having stored in the high-rise warehouse C, a second route R2 for carrying the article to be carried or having carried by the first route R1, and a transfer zone S for moving the article between the first route R1 and the second route R2, and is characterized in that the second route R2 is arranged so as to reach the transfer zone S in a plan view from the outside of the transfer zone S, and at least a part of the second route R2 moves in the direction for separating from an arrival position to the transfer zone S.
