PURPOSE: To raise the quality of printing by suppressing the occurrence of uneven densities during the transfer period as much as possible by equalizing the position, speed and angle of separation by the connected actions of a separation position-regulating roller and a separation condition-regulating roller.
CONSTITUTION: 1DF3 and a recording paper 10 are passed in a lapped state between a separation roller 4 and a separation position-regulating roller 11, and 1DF3 is fed to a guide roller 6 and separated and the paper 10 is fed along a paper guide 13 and separated. The paper 10 on the roller 4 can be separated at a fixed position all the time by the roller 11. The paper 10 is further fed along the guide 13 and goes into the aperture between both rollers of the separation condition-regulating roller 14. Both rollers are turned in a pressingly contact state at a fixed speed, e.g., at a speed slightly faster than the feeding speed of 1DF3 on the roller 4, and the paper 10 is taken out at the fixed speed from between the roller 4 and the roller 11 for feeding.
