Abstract:

To provide a core which has a low cost, high performance and high efficiency, and is manufactured from a conductive filler-charged resin-based material by molding.

The core is a low-cost moldable transformer or trans-inductor core, wherein a transformer or a trans-inductor is refers to as a transductor. Constituents of the transductor core are formed of a conductive filler-charged resin-based material. The conductive filler-charged resin-based material comprises micron conductive fibers or micron conductive dust, or a mixture thereof, homogeneously dispersed in a resin host material, which is a host material composed of a resin material. The ratio of the weight of the conductive filler to that of the resin host material can be in the range between about 0.20 and about 0.40.
