Title:
TRANSFORMER MODULE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3904442
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve reduction in size and cost by avoiding the lowering of common mode noise restraining function of a common-mode chock without using an automatic transformer even if it is used in a transmission line of DC superposition.
SOLUTION: In a transformer module with a built-in pulse transformer PT and a common-mode chock CMC: an intermediate tap CT is provided to one winding 2 of the pulse transformer PT; a pair of first and second windings W1, W2 and a third winding W3 having the same number of turns as the windings W1, W2 are provided to the common-mode chock CMC; both ends of the winding 2 of the pulse transformer PT are connected to one-side ends of the first and second windings W1, W2, respectively; the intermediate tap CT is connected to one end of the third winding 3; and magnetic flux formed by currents of the first and second windings W1, W2 and magnetic flux formed by a current of the third winding W3 are cancelled.
