Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transformer which allows for high drive frequency, and compaction of a converter by reducing the number of components, and to provide a resonant converter using the same.SOLUTION: In a transformer consisting of a primary coil 10, a secondary coil 20, and a core 5, the primary coil 10 and secondary coil 20 are formed as an open type coil consisting of a pair of coils (10a, 10b, and 20a, 20b) each having an open end, and the pair of coils 10a, 10b on the primary and the pair of coils 20a, 20b on the secondary are wound around the core 5a while matching the center line of the core 5a with the center lines of respective coils.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
