Title:
TRANSFORMERLESS TYPE DC*DC CONVERTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5694962
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain the stabilized output having a low ripple voltage by a method wherein a voltage controlling oscillation circuit is electronically controlled by an output voltage detecting circuit and a ripple detecting circuit. CONSTITUTION:The voltage controlling oscillation circuit VCO7 outputs a reverse- phased pulse of phi1 and phi2 using a DC input VIN. This output is boosted successively by a charge transfer circuits 8 and 8', the output is smoothed through a ripple filter 9 and the desired voltage VO is obtained at an output terminal 10. At the same time, an output voltage detecting circuit 11 detects an output VO, it is fed back to the VOC7 and a PWM control is performed to bring the voltage VO up to the desired level. Also, the ripple detecting circuit 12 detects a rippled by performing a half- wave rectification on the output VO, it is fed back to the VCO7 and performs an F control (frequency modulation), thereby enabling to reduce the ripple. Thus, the converter can be miniaturized as compared with the converter wherein a boosting transformer is used and also its voltage and rippled control can be performed easily.
