Abstract:
To provide apparatuses, methods, and systems for transition piece cross sectional area convergence reduction and selection.
In an embodiment, an aft end cross sectional area and a forward end cross sectional area are determined for a transition piece 100. The transition piece 100 may be fabricated based on a constant slope of variation in sectional area between the aft end and forward end. The transition piece 100 may have a constant slope of less than ±3% of sectional area along a longitudinal direction of the transition piece 100.
