Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a translation support system which prevents translational inconsistency by suppressing useless work caused by parallel work when proceeding with translation work in parallel.SOLUTION: A control method for collectively replacing old translations with new translations in a translation sentence in the translation support system includes a first retrieval step for retrieving old translations corresponding to first original sentence phrases from a translation sentence, a new translation input step for inputting a new translation that should change from the old translations, a first attribute change step for changing display attributes of the old translation in the translation sentence corresponding to the first original sentence phrases, a first replacement step for replacing the old translation in the translation sentence while maintaining the display attributes, a second attribute change step for changing display attributes of second original sentence phrases in the translation sentence, and a second replacement step for replacing the second original sentence phrases in the translation sentence with the old translation while maintaining the display attributes.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
