Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single cell gap translucent liquid crystal display.SOLUTION: A translucent liquid crystal display comprises a transmissive region and a reflective region, a first substrate, a second substrate, a liquid crystal layer, a transmission electrode, a reflection electrode and a passivation layer. The first substrate includes a thin film transistor element. The liquid crystal layer is disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate. The transmission electrode and the reflection electrode are arranged along the first substrate, here, the reflection electrode is provided correspondingly to the reflective region and the transmission electrode and the reflection electrode are connected to the thin film transistor element. A common electrode is arranged along the second substrate. The passivation layer is arranged along the first or second substrate, here, the passivation layer is provided correspondingly to the reflection electrode and the passivation layer is disposed between the transmission electrode and the common electrode.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
