Abstract:
To provide a transmitter for transmitting a high frequency signal by an optical fiber for correcting a transmission loss between optical intervals due to the length of the optical fiber and controlling an output of an amplifier.
In a down link, a pilot signal generator 15 for generating a pilot signal is provided in a relay base station 100, a pilot signal detector 55 for detecting the pilot signal is provided in a remote base station 200, and a gain of a gain setting device 53 and an output of the amplifier 63a are controlled in accordance with the pilot signal.
