A transmission apparatus for transmitting information associated with first and second data streams includes: a scramble section for applying scramble processing to the first and second data streams; a first error correction coding section for applying first error correction coding processing to an output of the scramble section; an interleave section for applying interleave processing to an output of the first error correction coding section; a second error correction coding section for applying second error correction coding processing to an output of the interleave section; a modulation section for modulating an output of the second error correction coding section to produce a modulated signal; and an inverse Fourier transform section for applying inverse Fourier transform to an output of the modulation section.
