To provide a transmission belt excellent in dynamic adhesiveness structured by bonding and embedding a core wire composed of polyester fiber or polyamide fiber in an adhesive rubber layer while a compressed rubber layer and the adhesive rubber layer are bonded by vulcanized adhesion, and a manufacturing method for it.

In this transmission belt, a compressed rubber layer and an adhesive rubber layer are bonded by vulcanized adhesion, and a core wire composed of polyester fiber or polyamide fiber is bonded and embedded in the adhesive rubber layer. The adhesive rubber layer and the compressed rubber layer composed of a vulcanize of an ethylene-α-olefin diene rubber compound, and the core wire is adhesion-treated by an overcoat agent containing chlorosulfonated polyethylene or alkylated chlorosulfonated polyethylene as an effective ingredient and is bonded and embedded in the adhesive rubber layer.
