To provide a transmission cable without fluctuations of inside skew generated by the crush of an insulation layer due to stress between a drain wire and insulated wire generated when transversally winding a conductive tape material.
The transmission cable 1 is formed by laying a drain wire 11 aside a pair of signal wires composed of a pair of insulated wires 7 formed by covering each signal wire 3 with an insulation layer, for example, a foamed insulation layer 5 through an intermediate 9, and laterally winding a conductive tape material 13 on the periphery of the drain line. Although the conductive tape material 13 is transversally wound when manufacturing the transmission cable, since stress added between the insulated wires 7 and the foamed insulation layer 5 is surely dispersed, relaxed, and absorbed by the intermediate 9 and the crush of the foamed insulation layer 5 is suppressed, the fluctuations of inside skew are reduced.
