Title:
TRANSMISSION CONTROL DEVICE FOR CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3427734
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To always surely allow continuos transmission at a desired transmission speed so as to prevent a transmission shock in a high vehicle speed time and a slow transmission feeling in a low-speed time by deciding a transmission time constant on the basis of a transmission ratio deviation and a vehicle speed.
SOLUTION: From a vehicle speed VSP and a throttle opening TVO, a number Ni* of constant achieved input revolutions (primary pulley) set as a final target in the present operating condition is found through retrieval on the basis of a predicted transmission map. Subsequently, the number Ni* of achieved input revolutions is divided by the number No of transmission output revolutions for computing a transient achieved transmission ratio i* in each time for accomplishing the number Ni* of achieved input revolutions, and consequently, a transmission time constant is decided. In addition, a transient target transmission ratio RTO in each time for accomplishing the achieved transmission ratio i* at the transmission time constant is found so as to be outputted to a hydraulic actuator 12. In this way, the hydraulic actuator 12 can operate a continuously variable transmission 2 so that continuously variable transmission is carried out for matching an actual transmission ratio with a target transmission ratio RTO.
