PURPOSE: To attain the communication at a terminal equipment having a different protocol by providing a protocol converter to an exchange side and one terminal equipment and deciding an output form of both terminal equipments according to a protocol designated by the terminal equipment provided with the protocol converter.
CONSTITUTION: A protocol converter 13 at the land side and a protocol con verter 16 at the mobile equipment side use a common protocol for the communi cation. Since the transmission control method of a terminal equipment 17 at the mobile equipment side requires no procedure, the protocol converter 16 converts the protocol from the common protocol into no procedure and feeds an output to the terminal equipment 17 at the mobile equipment side by allowing the terminal equipment 17 to connect to the protocol converter 16 with no procedure. On the other hand, when a data is sent to a terminal equipment 11 at the land side from the terminal equipment 17 at the mobile equipment side, the terminal equipment device 17 informs it to the protocol converter 16 at the mobile equipment side that the transmission control procedure of the terminal equipment 11 of the land side is BSC in advance and informs it to the protocol converter 13 at the exchange side via the common protocol.
