To improve control accuracy and the response speed of engine rotation speed by eliminating the vibration of a governor case, and to reduce the wearing speed of a roller pivot by forming a governor sleeve easily and shortening a rotating travel distance of a roller in relation to the rotation speed of the governor sleeve.
In this transmission device, only one roller 3 is rotatably supported by a governor lever 4 and the roller 3 is made to abut on a sleeve output end 10. The sleeve output end 10 of the cylindrical governor sleeve 2 is composed of a hole blocking end wall 13 blocking the hole tip of a cylinder hole 12 of the governor sleeve 2. The roller 3 is made to abut on the hole blocking end wall 13 at a position shifted from the rotation axis 11 of a sleeve guide shaft 9. The hole blocking end wall 13 is formed as a part independent from the governor sleeve 2 and fixed by welding 20 on the tip of the governor sleeve 2.
