Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the transmission equipment which multiplexes and transmits a synchronous mode signal and an asynchronous mode signal.
CONSTITUTION: This equipment consists of a synchronous packet transmission as the synchronous mode signal and a signal of higher necessity of real-time transmission as the asynchronous mode signal and divides the synchronous mode signal into plural synchronous packets, a synchronous packet transmitter 5 which transmits synchronous packets approximately periodically, an asynchronous packet generator 4 which makes an asynchronous packet of the asynchronous mode signal, and an asynchronous packet transnmitter 6 which inserts the asynchronous packet between synchronous packets to transmit it.
