PURPOSE: To obtain a distinct image of good quality with simple structure by arranging a visual field control film which has light nontransmissive beltlike bodies in a light transmission body at constant intervals between a light source and a light transmissive original.

CONSTITUTION: This device consists of the light source 1 such as a straight tube type fluorescent lamp, the light transmissive original 2 formed by silver salt photography, printing, a laser printer, etc., a photosensitive body 3 such as silver salt photosensitive paper and a photosensitive, pressure-sensitive capsule sheet, and the visual field control film 4 which has light nontransmissive beltlike bodies 120 embedded in the light transmission body 110 at constant intervals between the light source 1 and light transmissive original 2. Part of a light beam emitted by the light source 1, i.e. a light beam 210 incident slantingly on the original 2 is cut off by the visual field control film 4 and only light 200 almost perpendicular to the surface of the original 2 is passed to illuminate the surface of the photosensitive body 3. Consequently, an image having a distinct contour is obtained.
