To provide a transmission for accurately transmitting rotary motion of an input shaft to an output shaft by preventing creep deformation by contact pressure of an elastic body for constituting a contact surface of a roller.
A moving member 23 lowers by displacement of a pressing sleeve 21 by a pin 20 and a groove cam 22 in normal rotation of the input shaft 1, and a fitting member 29 fits to a fitting hole 27a of an elastic intermediate roller 27. Thus, an outer peripheral surface of the elastic intermediate roller 27 expands in the normal direction, and the elastic intermediate roller 27 is brought into pressure contact with a central roller 1a and an outer ring 6a, and rotation of the input shaft 1 is transmitted to the output shaft 6. The fitting member 29 separates from the fitting hole 27a by the rise of the pressing sleeve 21 by stopping of the inverse rotation of the input shaft 1, and the elastic intermediate roller 27 returns to an initial shape, and separates from the central roller 1a and the outer ring 6a. Thus, the creep deformation of the outer peripheral surface of the elastic intermediate roller 27 is prevented.
