Abstract:
To provide a transmission server that efficiently re-transmits data using communication in response to a retransmission request from a reception side based on coded data on error correction codes used in digital broadcasting, a transmission device and a reception device related to the digital broadcasting, and a program.SOLUTION: A transmission server 6 of the present invention stores coded data transmitted by a transmission device 2 (3) by an amount corresponding to a predetermined time, receives a retransmission request packet generated when it is determined that a bit error of the coded data cannot be corrected in a reception device 5 via an IP network 8, performs insertion/deletion of a padding bit for each coding rate determined based on a packet loss rate for the coded data related to the retransmission request, adaptively changes the coding rate, forms an IP packet, and re-transmits it to the reception device 5. The transmission device 2 (3) of the present invention sequentially outputs the transmitted coded data to the transmission server 6. The reception device 5 of the present invention uses the coded data obtained via the retransmission request and repeats the retransmission request until the coded data can be decoded within a predetermined time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
